It’s very important to us that your personal information remain secure. When you make a donation to ActionAid, your credit card information is secured by a reputable security company, Authorize.Net. We use your personal and credit card information only to fulfill the transaction you requested. ActionAid does not store your credit card information for future use. ActionAid’s donation processing system complies with PCI Security Standards, a set of comprehensive requirements for enhancing payment account data security.
This policy does not extend to anything that is inherent in the operation of the Internet, which is beyond our control, nor does it apply to the practices of companies ActionAid does not own or control, or to individuals ActionAid does not employ or manage. While we strive to protect our members/donors' information and privacy, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you disclose online, and you disclose such information at your own risk.

We don’t ask any personal information on our website unless you choose to share with us. We do require personal information on our donation pages for processing the transaction, as well as very limited information on our petition pages. We also collect information about aggregate site usage. The statistics we gather about unique visits, repeat visits and page views are all based on IP addresses, and are not associated with your personal information.
How do we use the information we collect?
We use the information you give us to assist you or further our mission. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to a third party. If you give a gift to ActionAid, we will place you on our mailing list for occasional mail and email updates. ActionAid will remove your name from our mailing list, email list or telephone solicitation list at any time, at your request. If you do not want to receive any updates from us in the future, please let us know by e-mailing us at takeaction@actionaid.org. You can also opt out our email list upon receiving our email communications.
