An estimated 60 percent of the 45,000 prostitutes in Cambodia’s capital city, Phnom Penh, are Vietnamese. These women come on the promise of a factory job with dreams of supporting their families back home. ActionAid fights to end human trafficking by educating women about how to protect themselves from scam artists and by helping them identify and pursue livelihoods in their own communities.
