International Development Policy Intern

Summary:
ActionAid is an international anti-poverty agency working in over 50 countries, taking sides with poor people to end poverty and injustice together.
We are currently seeking an International Development Policy Intern.This internship position seeks a candidate interested in international development policy and issues related to global hunger, climate change, and Haiti. This position will support ActionAid USA’s ongoing work on international development policy, agricultural development policy, climate change, and Haiti. Activities will include research, writing and production of materials, event planning, attending meetings, and some administration.
Fall Internship: Applications Due: Rolling
Appointments Made: August 31
Internship Spans: Early Sept - Mid Dec (flexible)
The internship will span from September - December. We are looking for at least 20 hours per week, with a preference for full-time.
The position is unpaid.
Education:
The position is open to graduate students and undergraduates with experience in the field of international development.
