Chief Financial Officer

Meet Richard! He is the Chief Financial Officer for ActionAid USA. In this role, he is responsible for accounting, financial reporting, and compliance. He also manages the IT department and oversees Human Resources.

Richard’s impressive career in finance began in public accounting, where he specialized in audit engagements for not-for-profit clients such as the American Psychological Association (APA), the American Pharmacists Association, and the Community Foundation of the National Capital Region. His expertise and attention to detail led him to become the Manager of Third-Party Accounting Services for the APA after leaving public accounting, where he handled the day-to-day accounting needs of the APA Practice Organization, as well as overseeing the finances of two office buildings owned by the APA and dozens of smaller APA Divisions. In addition to his expertise in finance, Richard is an avid video gamer.

Richard holds a B.S. in Accounting from George Mason University. His experience and dedication to financial management has been instrumental in the success of ActionAid USA.
